On June 30th, in the center of Warsaw directly across from the main gate of the university, an outdoor exhibit Our Israelis: The Fate of Polish Jews in Israel opened.  Eminent Israeli figures that were born in Poland are on exhibit,  such as David Ben-Gurion, Shimon Peres, Israel Lowe, Shai Agmon, Aaron Ciechanover, and Chava Alberstein.

The open-air exhibition is sponsored by the Israeli Embassy in Warsaw and the National Polish Archive, along with the Ghetto Fighters' House, that was involved in collecting material for the exhibition.

Zvi Rav-Ner, the Israeli ambassador in Warsaw, stated that "this is an important exhibition that presents to the Polish people the 'Polish' roots and resources in Israel and will definitely add to the promotion and image of Israel in Poland.   I would like to that Yossi Shavit from the Ghetto Fighters' House archive for his help in provided material for the exhibition."
