The Ghetto Fighters’ House has a variety of programs in honor of “Senior Citizen’s Month” that will be taking place throughout the month of November. “Senior Citizen Month” is the initiative of the Welfare and Social Services Ministry, which will be offering a number of programs for the general public.
The events this year will be focusing on the place of senior citizens in Israeli society and how their wisdom and experience can contribute to younger generations.
As part of the “Senior Citizens Month”, the Ghetto Fighters’ House will have activities that put emphasis on perseverance and making the choice between good and solidarity and destruction and evil. In preparation for this initiative, the museum has created a special tour at a discounted rate. Professional and experienced guides will lead the visitors through new, permanent and temporary exhibitions, with the displays serving as an anchor for dialogue during the tour. The activity includes a movie and a guided tour in two exhibitions.
The program is by reservation only.
