The Ghetto Fighters' House hosted a seminar entitled "The Young Leading the Way – Then and Now", in the presence of diplomats, historians, members of the Dror Youth Movement and the general public. The seminar explored the concept of resistance and protest both during the Holocaust and in Israel after the war.

The event started with opening remarks by Dr. Anat Livne, Director of the museum, which was followed by a touching performance by the Dror Israel Chorus. Among the speakers were Dr. Paula Caballo from the Ben-Gurion University, Dr. David Netzer and Orly Gal, from the Ghetto Fighters' House, and historian Muki Tzur. Among the distinguished guests were the Ambassador of Nigeria, Mr. David Oladipo Obasa, and the Counsellor Deputy Head of Mission, Martina Quick, from the Embassy of Sweden, who were also given a tour of the newly renovated wing of the museum.
