European Jewish Congress to Display GFH Materials during International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The European Jewish Congress will display panels from an exhibit based on educational materials from the Ghetto Fighters’ House during the annual International Holocaust Remembrance Day at the European Parliament during the week of January 21st in Brussels.

The Ceremony, to be held on January 22 at the Hehudi Menuhim Hall in the European Parliament will focus on the theme:  Resistance to Nazism, specifically noting the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and recalling the 1943 deportation of the Roma victims of the Holocaust. Panels from the Traces of Humanity educational curriculum will be displayed during the ceremony. 

Dr. Samuel Pisar, Honorary Ambassador and Special Envoy of UNESCO for Holocaust and genocide education will address the group among others.
President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz of Germany has organized the event and has invited the European Jewish Congress to be the co-organizer.
