In honor of spring: A delegation from the Jewish Nation Fund visits the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum

Last week top officials from the Jewish National Fund (JNF) visited the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum through the "Go North" program. This joint program was developed by JNF-USA and Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael, in cooperation with the government of Israel, local municipalties, Raya Strauss Ben - Dror, who is promoting the Western Galiliee Region, the Raut Center, Nefesh B'Nefesh, Or Movement, The Rashi Foundation, the Russel Berrie Foundation and a number of other NGO's.

The group was invited by Michal Shiloah Galnoor, CEO of "Western Galilee Now", a registered non-profit organization (NPO) aimed at promoting awareness and appreciation for the Western Galilee. The organization believes that cooperation and joint activities with tourists in the region, with the support of JNF, is essential in order to make tourism a thriving, sustainable and developing branch. The goal of the "Go North" JNF-USA delegation, which included both donators and central leaders in the organization, was to get acquainted with the tourism in the Western Galilee in order to find ways to support and promote tourism in the region.

The delegation was greeted by Raya Kalisman, Director of External Relations. The Head of the Mateh Asher Regional Council, Yoram Israeli, came to the museum in order to welcome the group. The tour started with a new short film on the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum that was produced with the help of Raya Strauss Ben-Dror.
