Museum hours during Passover 2017:

The Ghetto Fighters' House will be open to the public in the mid-holiday, sponsored by Bank Hapoalim.

90-minute tours will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 12 and 13, in the following hours: 10:11:30, 12:00-13:30 and 14:00-15:30. On Friday and Sunday, April 14 and 16, the tours will be held at 10:00-11:30 and 11:30-13:00.

Guided tours of the Yad Layeled museum will be held once every 30 minutes.

Starting Sunday, April 9, the museum library will be closed and will reopen on Monday, April 17.

The archives will be open on Wednesday and Thursday, April 12 and 13, and will be closed on holiday eves and Fridays.

Regular hours for the GFH main museum and the Yad LaYeled children’s museum:

Sunday through Thursday: 9:00 – 16:00

Friday, Saturday & Holidays: CLOSED
    

Weekend visits to the main museum may be scheduled in advance for organized groups (from 200 people)

Location:

The Ghetto Fighters’ House is located on the Coast Highway (Route #4) between Akko and Nahariya.

Public transportation:

By bus : (No. 271 local, Haifa-Mercazit ha-Mifratz to Nahariya) or "sherut" (taxi-van) – to the stop opposite the Ghetto Fighters' House ("Beit Lohamei Haghetaot").

 

By train:  Northbound trains to the Akko station; continue from there on the Coast Road by bus or taxi – both leave regularly from the "Egged" station, approximately a five minute walk from the train station.
